We have received support from many local residents and businesses as well as pledges from parish councils and trade associations. Not all supporters are local – some live over 150 miles away! All donations are welcome and much appreciated.
An annual subscription to Hay Ho! costs £5 for individuals and £20 for businesses – you are of course warmly invited to donate more than this is you wish! Many thanks to the following businesses who have already pledged their support:
Lion Antiques, Hay on Wye
The Granary, Hay on Wye
Also a BIG THANK YOU to the parish councils of Belmont (rural), Dorstone, Clehonger, Peterchurch and Vowchurch for their continued kind support of the service.
How will my subscription help?
Your donation will be used as follows:
• To promote and market the bus service – e.g. timetable and leaflet printing costs;
• To lay on special events on Sundays and Bank Holidays to encourage use of Hay Ho!;
• In the event that revenue generated from fares does not meet the cost of running the service, donations will be used to make up the shortfall.
During the first months of operation many “regulars” have used the bus…that is great news, but it is also good to see that there are new customers on board too. The more we encourage people to use the bus the less need for financial support.
