LATEST NEWS! We are holding fares for summer 2017, which means the price of travel on Hay Ho! has stayed the same since October 2014!
Thanks have to go out to all supporters (that includes local businesses and some parish councils) and especially to those of you who chipped in again earlier this year to ensure that there are sufficient funds in the kitty to market and underwrite the service. Above all else we have a logospecial thanks to Herefordshire County Council public transport team for managing the contract on our behalf and for supporting this community initiative. Powys County Council has also played a role in supporting the bus. So, without the two council teams helping behind the scenes we would be lost.
There’s also a big thumbs up for the bus company, Yeomans, who have maintained their price for this year. There are two regular drivers on the 39A, Hay Ho! bus, Roly and Lazlo. They do their best to provide a safe and comfortable ride, but the road surface is a little bumpy in the Golden Valley. They also have problems with traffic congestion in Hereford on occasion, but they manage to get people to the railway station on time.
